Installation Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders and enquiries made with Armagh Carpets. By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

Armagh Carpets operates as a supplier of carpets, flooring and related accessories. Any fitting services are arranged separately and are not part of our core service.

  1. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes provided are free and without obligation. Prices are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry and may be subject to change if specifications are altered.

 

Quotes are valid for a limited period and may be revised due to supplier price changes or availability.

  1. Supply Only

Armagh Carpets operates on a supply-only basis. All prices relate to the supply of goods unless otherwise clearly stated.

 

We do not provide an in-house measuring or fitting service. Customers are responsible for ensuring all measurements and specifications are accurate before placing an order.

 

We accept no liability for issues arising from incorrect measurements supplied by the customer or third parties.

  1. Delivery

  • Carpets may be delivered on the day of installation or, where necessary, prior to the fitting date.
  • Larger orders or multiple rolls may be delivered separately.
  • Please ensure clear and safe access to all areas where flooring is to be delivered and fitted.
  • Carpet rolls can be heavy and bulky; delivery will be made to the nearest safe and practical location.
  • Customers are responsible for removing furniture, appliances and personal belongings from the installation area unless otherwise agreed.
  • Existing floor coverings should be uplifted prior to installation unless an uplift service has been arranged.
  • Subfloors should be clean, dry and suitable for installation before fitting commences.
  • Any issues regarding room measurements, access restrictions or site conditions should be notified before installation.
  • We reserve the right to postpone installation where access, site conditions or safety concerns prevent work from being carried out safely.
  • Please inspect your flooring before installation begins, as fitted flooring cannot be returned unless deemed faulty.

  1. Product Information & Samples

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images and samples are as accurate as possible.

 

However, colours and textures may vary due to differences in screen displays, lighting conditions and manufacturing batches. Customers are advised to request samples before purchasing where possible.

 

No claims will be accepted based solely on colour variation where samples have not been requested.

  1. Orders & Payment

Orders are confirmed once payment has been received and accepted. In some cases, a deposit may be required.

 

All goods remain the property of Armagh Carpets until paid for in full.

  1. Returns & Cancellations

As most carpets and flooring are cut to size or ordered specifically, they are considered bespoke items and are non-returnable unless faulty.

 

If you wish to cancel an order, you must notify us as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.

 

  1. Third Party Fitters

We may recommend independent third party fitters for your convenience, however all fitters operate independently of Armagh Carpets.

 

While every care is taken during installation, some minor marks to painted skirting boards or surrounding areas can occasionally occur. In certain cases, particularly on stairs, slight chipping to paintwork or plaster may happen due to the nature of the fitting process.

 

Any agreement for fitting is strictly between the customer and the fitter.

  1. Liability

Armagh Carpets shall not be held liable for:

  • Incorrect measurements provided by the customer
  • Issues arising from third party installation
  • Delays outside of our control
  • Normal wear and tear of products

Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

  1. Warranty & Faults

Any product faults must be reported within a reasonable timeframe. Claims will be assessed in line with manufacturer warranties and guidelines.

 

We reserve the right to inspect goods before agreeing to any replacement or refund.

Armagh Carpets provide carpets and flooring, with delivery available. Measuring and fitting services are not included, and any fitters recommended operate independently.
